Mr. Smith has led The Pride Band program for over 15 years, building a tradition of excellence in marching, concert, and jazz performance. A graduate of the University of Music Arts, he holds a Master's degree in Music Education and is a passionate advocate for student achievement.

Ms. Rivera joined The Pride in 2018 and has been instrumental in developing the program's woodwind and percussion sections. She brings a wealth of performance experience from her years as a professional musician and a deep commitment to student growth.

Middle School Band Director

Rutherford Middle School

Mr. Chen leads the middle school feeder program, preparing students for the rigors and rewards of high school band. His patient, encouraging teaching style has helped hundreds of beginners discover a lifelong love of music.
